Septemberfest

We attended the Septemberfest in Farmleigh.
The weather was bad but we still had a nice time.
It was a once-a-year opportunity to try an excellent produce of mini-breweries from all over Ireland.

Trip to Celbridge

A weekend came - sunny but you could feel the chilly gusts of incoming Fall.
We decided that Celbridge is where we wanted to go.

Weekend trip to Galway

My mother came to Ireland so we took her for a nice weekend trip to Galway and surroundings.

The Great Sugar Loaf

The trip to the Great Sugar Loaf was rather a nice experience.
The weather wasn't very good - was very misty and the cloud cover was very low - but at least it wasn't raining. Actually the cloud cover was so low that even before we climbed the top of the hill we were basically walking in the clouds.

The ascent was rather steep.

A specimen of a native fauna. (A marmot? ;)

Later on the clouds dispersed so we could see the Great Sugar Loaf in all its glory.

Trip to Waterford

We had a nice plan for the weekend. Waterford and it's surroundings. Full of hope we've been checking weather on met.ie to see if our plans won't be ruined. Fortunately Met Eireann gave us a green light so off we went... :-)
