Tall ships on Liffey

On Saturday Marcin rang me and told me that there are a couple of sailing vessels floating on Liffey and there's some kind of marine market with concerts and boothes. He asked me if I wish to come.
Sure I replied and appeared in the city center some time later.
There were dozens of people walking around, the sun was really roasting and bands played the songs. A really nice atmosphere let me tell you!

We walked around, took some photographs and had a pint of cold Guinness ;)
It was a very nice evening.
Later when the whole fair has ended - we went pub crawling but that's another story... :)

My new bike

And so it happened.
After so much hassle, endless phone calls and traveling around - there it is.
My new bike - Suzuki Intruder VS400.

The bike looked really good in the ad so I grabbed my mobile and called the owner.
We quickly agreed on the meeting time frame so just after the work I paid a visit to the bank.
An hour later Alan-the-tester appeared at my place - we got into the car and off we drove.
The owner of the bike lives in Borris-in-Ossory, County Laois so getting there took us bit over 1.5 h. The owner was very nice, the bike looked great, sounded great and drove great. What else should I look for? I paid the price, Alan jumped on the bike, I into the car and back to Dublin we drove.
We were back at my house around 22:30. Good ride, almost empty motorway so my Yaris had sweat a bit along the way. ;)
Alan told me that the bike was running very smoothly and it was a really good ride - I'm certainly glad to hear that! :)

Bank Holiday

The weather was gorgeous so me and Lili have got on our bikes and off to Dun Laoghaire we went.
The sun was literally killing so we got some tan (ouch!).

One strange looking thing.
There was a river of clouds flowing into central Dublin from the sea.
You can see the chimneys of the powerplant - as if suspended in the sky.

Howth

We had a trip around Howth on Easter Monday.
The weather was good though a bit windy.
Me and my lovely Lili pictured below.
